Our Method's/Our Training Philosophy/Belief's
There so many various type's of training out there these days,it would boggle
your mind on which is right or wrong to use. Several variations of this exist
today in dog training. As for what I train ,it has taken years for me to learn. I
would explain my personal way as using good solid foundation work in my
training and to be consistent as possible.
I use positive reinforcement training . Whether it be food driven ,or motivated
,praise,or toy driven. Dog behavior problems are easily solved and all it takes
is patience,and having a,very ,creative mind. As well when it comes to dogs
they are just like people,were all so complex and different and never have the
same personality. Some are soft,hard,hyper,and hard headed and set in our
ways. Most will respond to food,praise,and some need the collar. I use
whatever form or combination that works for the dog ,and I.
I am very humane in every method that I do use. I pride myself in being the
medium type of trainer ,I am not an extremist,and I am not too much of a softy.
I believe in the owner/trainer/dog education system,all being involved with one
another during the training process. I expect my clients to at least once a week
be involved with the dog and I in training.
A social interaction between all parties involved during training is so very
important. A complete owner/dog education contains both hard and soft
techniques. Once I have applied what I have learned to your dog,they will be
much more social animal we would all be more than happy to own,as well live
with. Teaching dog obedience not only teaches that ,but life skills,house,social
manners,and how to prevent behavior problems,and solve existing ones
before they ever occur.
In short we all want a dog we can live with,right?
